The holidays are a delicate time for early childhood educators. In North America, December is dominated by Christmas, and yet it’s our job to make every child feel included in our spaces. That’s why I’m so excited to have contributed to this Storytime Solidarity article for keeping the holidays festive, educational, and inclusive for all!
We’ll have confetti, party hats, a craft, and noisemakers. Come ring in the Western New Year with music, singing, rhymes, games, and a countdown to 12 o’clock. Pajamas encouraged!
