Parts of a Book Action Rhyme

Here’s a lovely book of mine,
Here’s the cover, here’s the spine.
Here’s some info that is vital:

Open it just like a door,
Turn the pages to explore.
When you’re finished, say, “The End,”
And then you close it up again.

Send the “Self-Care Stretch” Around the World

Happy Birthday, Sing, Rhyme, and Play!

Two years ago, on 26. April 2020, our family started our YouTube channel to share my original, early literacy content (think: songs and rhymes for story time) with the wider world. Sing, Rhyme, and Play later became a popular Outschool class.

🥳 Hooray — Sing, Rhyme, and Play is 2 today! 🥳

We’ve had so much fun, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Please join us in celebrating two years of Sing, Rhyme, and Play by sending the “Self-Care Stretch” around the world!

Ms. Christina shares her original action rhyme, the “Self-Care Stretch.”

First, get a video of you doing the “Self-Care Stretch” in a place you love — you can be sitting or standing. We’ve done a few to get you inspired:

Then, post the video to social media with #SelfCareStretch and @RhymeSing. Or email it to singrhymeandplay[at]gmail[dot]com. We’ll compile them here.

Finally, check back to enjoy the celebration of self-care around the world.

Thanks for being part of our journey to make and share high-quality, early learning content that’s educational and — most importantly — fun!
